Best Home Made Food for your Cats/ Kittens.

Often people ask me: “How can I keep my cats healthy?” or “What food do you give to your cats that they are so healthy?” and I always reply to them, only home made food holds the power to make a cat healthy. You can give them readymade food of any company but what home made food does for them, is incomparable.

If you have a Persian cat, they tend to have long hair. They quality of their hair can be determined by the fluffiness and length of the hair. The hair should also not be dry or else they will end up building hair mats which will be hard to get rid of.

To cook home made cat food, we need following ingredients:

1. 1 kg Chicken
2. 250 gm Potatoes
3. 250 gm Carrots
4. 250 gm Pumpkin
5. 100 gm White Rice

We can cook the home made cat food as follows:

1. Wash the chicken and put it in the cooker.
2. Wash the vegetables and chop them into not so small pieces.
3. Now put the vegetables also in the Cooker.
4. Put the 100 gm Rice also into the Cooker.
5. Now fill the Cooker with drinking water until everything submerges into the water.
6. Close the Cooker lid and put it on the stove.
7. Let the cooker give around 4-5 whistles.
8. Shut the stove and let it cool for a few hours.
9. Once the mixture is at room temperature, take out the chicken and separate bones from meat.
10. You can give the bones separately as snacks to your cats.
11. Now if you have a large size grinder at your home, put everything in it and grind the whole mixture.
12. Remember that the water should not be separated from the mixture as it is the main ingredient now.
13. If you have a smaller grinder, you can grind the mixture in parts, but make sure that you take approximately similar quantity of everything that is in the mixture so as to make the end product even.
14. Once the food is ready, make sure you refrigerate it by putting it in a container.
15. While serving, make sure you season it with an oil containing Omega 3 and other multivitamins.
16. This oil will play a big role in the hair quality of your Persian cat or for any other breed cat, it will be beneficial to their overall health.
